Abstract: Disclosed is “Golfball”, a system and method of playing a team golf game in which teams consisting of nine players each compete in a match play format with the object being to win the greater number of holes, including rules for player substitutions, line up disclosure, simultaneous play, extra holes in case of ties, real time communication of the game score and the number of holes remaining to be played to all participating players and the display of the current status of the game and all component matches on a consolidated scoreboard.

Abstract: Laterally "floating" thermal spray gun traversing apparatus and system for laterally tracking a revolving casting belt being thermal spray coated for applying uniformly spaced passes of thermal spraying on the revolving casting belt regardless of any lateral (edgewise) movements of the casting belt in either direction and regardless of any chamber in the edge of the belt. The thermal spray gun is traversed by a leadscrew and an adjustable speed drive for the leadscrew, both the leadscrew and its adjustable drive being carried by a frame mounted on a carriage freely movable along a trackway extending parallel to the axis of the leadscrew. A roller senses the lateral position of the edge of the revolving belt, and the carriage is moved by a source of motive power responsive to the sensed lateral position of the belt for causing the carriage together with the frame, leadscrew and leadscrew drive automatically to track the belt.

Abstract: A tieless bracing arrangement is provided for rigidly supporting the winding end turns of a dynamoelectric machine in relatively rigid operating position. The bracing arrangement is characterized by including an expandable annulus having a spreader that is operable in conjunction with a plurality of slidably mounted dowels to selectively hold the annulus open while it is positioned adjacent to the machine end turns and then to compress the annulus tightly against the end turns to secure them in operating position. A novel method is also disclosed for applying the tieless bracing to a dynamoelectric machine.
