Abstract: There is disclosed a data processing device for executing an application, the data processing device comprising a processing unit for controlling access to at least one user interface comprised in the data processing device, and a secure element for facilitating secure execution of the application, wherein executing the application comprises receiving input data from and/or sending output data to the user interface, and wherein the secure element is arranged to cause the processing unit to restrict the access to the user interface during execution of the application. Furthermore, a corresponding method for executing an application and a corresponding computer program product are disclosed.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing identification signals in a data signal (teletext signal) which is cyclically repeated within a television signal and which can be displayed in the form of single still television pictures (teletext pages), whereby the manual entry of numbers for selecting the teletext pages is superfluous and the desired teletext pages can be selected in a simple and flawless way by searching a part of the teletext signal constituting at least a part of the contents of a selected teletext page for signal sequences representing three-digit, natural numbers, which sequences are separated as identification signals and are stored as signals assigned to the selected teletext page.
