  • Patent number: 8597050
Abstract: The differential pair system includes a push-on high frequency differential connector sleeve and push-on high frequency differential connector. The system allows for blind mating of the two components, using a keying system for the two electrical conductors to be axially and radially aligned.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 13, 2010
Date of Patent: December 3, 2013
    Assignee: Corning Gilbert Inc.
Inventors: Thomas E Flaherty, Dennis Francis Hart

  • Patent number: 7758370
Abstract: The electrical connector has a tubular sleeve and an outer tubular housing disposed over the tubular sleeve with at least two openings in the outer tubular housing to receive projections from the tubular sleeve. A resilient member biases the tubular sleeve and outer tubular housing relative to one another. Moving the outer tubular housing relative to the tubular sleeve pushes the projections radially inward to release the electrical connector. In an alternative embodiment, moving the outer tubular housing pulls the projections radially outward releasing the electrical connector.
