Abstract: A mounting entity comprises, in layered order, a pressure sensitive adhesive, a foam spacer, a second pressure sensitive adhesive, a filler, and a heat sensitive adhesive. The first pressure sensitive adhesive is attached to an electrical component which is then mounted upon a printed circuit with the heat sensitive adhesive in contact therewith. The passing of the board over a solder wave heats the top surface of the board to a temperature high enough to activate the heat sensitive adhesive and adhere the component to the board. The intermediate foam layer dampens shock and vibration.

Abstract: An electrical connecting device for use with a multiple layered circuit-containing device wherein at least two layers of the multiple layered circuit-containing device each contain a circuit including a plurality of circuit contacts to be electrically connected by the electrical connecting device. The electrical connecting device includes an upper longitudinal peripheral surface joined to a lower longitudinal peripheral surface by an intermediate longitudinal surface to form an elongated member which has a Z-shaped configuration in cross section and is formed from a plurality of Z-shaped connectors shaped from each other in a predetermined amount to effect a moire pattern when superimposed relative to the circuit contacts of at least one of the layers.

Abstract: A conversion unit for a light source includes a housing which includes circuit means for turning the lamp on and off as well as providing several brightness levels of illumination. The housing includes a male plug for connection to a power source; a female receptacle for receiving a lamp plug; an antenna receptor; and an antenna connected to the receptor and terminating in an electrically conductive member. The last named member becomes the switch for the lamp when the unit is in operation.
