The handle may be located below the center of gravity of the cooler or within approximately 2 to 3 inches of the bottom edge of the cooler. The body and the handle may be formed as one-piece and from molded plastic. The handle may also be mounted on a separate handle tray where the tray is secured to the body. A spigot may be provided for dispensing fluid from said body. The body may comprise an insulated wall construction. A removable lid may be used to close the opening. A handle may also be positioned near the top edge.

A pin on the post is dimensioned to fit into the recess when the recess rotates into alignment with the pin to lock the lid in an open position. The hinge may be used on a trash container that comprises a receptacle and a lid pivotably mounted to the receptacle at the hinge.
