  • Publication number: 20230400063
Abstract: A bearing assembly is disclosed, comprising: an outer race and a plurality of rolling elements associated with the outer race. An inner race adapted to receive a shaft therein is rotatably disposed within the outer race such that the plurality of rolling elements are disposed between the inner and outer races. A cylindrical extension forming a plurality of tabs symmetrically arranged around the entire periphery of the extension is adapted to engage the shaft. A clamp collar that is installable around the cylindrical extension is defined by a circular wall with at least one threaded opening extending through the circular wall. The threaded member extends through one of the threaded openings to make contact with and apply a biasing force on one of the plurality of tabs towards the shaft when the shaft is disposed in the inner race to secure the inner race on the shaft.

  • Patent number: 11661969
Abstract: A bearing cover assembly can be assembled to a bearing housing in which a rolling element bearing is accommodated. The bearing housing assembly includes an annular adapter and an end cap that can be mated together. The annular adapter can have a tapered inner annular surface and can be inserted into the housing bore of the bearing housing. The end cap can have a corresponding outer tapered surface. When the end cap is inserted into the adapter hole defined by the annular adapter, the sliding contact between the tapered inner annular surface and the outer surface radially expands the annular adapter inside the housing bore creating a positive engagement retaining the bearing cover assembly to the bearing housing.

  • Patent number: 11603887
Abstract: A coupling includes first and second annular flanges in spaced relation across a gap. At least one resilient element is disposed in the gap in abutting relation to the first and second annular flanges. A first plurality of fasteners extends from the first annular flange, through the at least one resilient element, to the second annular flange, and a second plurality of fasteners extends from the second annular flange, through the at least one resilient element, to the first annular flange. Fasteners in the first plurality of fasteners is disposed in alternating fashion with fasteners in the second plurality of fasteners.

  • Publication number: 20230016988
Abstract: A coupling assembly for transmitting rotational forces from a driving shaft to a driven shaft, the driving and driven shafts having teeth. The coupling assembly includes a first and a second flange, each flange configured to be rotationally fixed onto respective shafts. A pair of resilient shoes are disposed between the flanges. The shoes are configured to be attached to the coupling assembly by a first plurality of fasteners that are fixed to the first flange and extend through the shoes to connect the shoes to the first flange and a second plurality of fasteners are fixed to the second flange and extend through the shoes to connect the shoes to the second flange.

  • Patent number: 11130639
Abstract: A modular pulley assembly for a continuous belt conveyor can be assembly from a plurality of modular pulley disks that can be axially aligned and abut against each other to provide pulleys of differing lengths per demand. The modular pulley disks can be made from a non-metallic material such as a polymer and can manufactured by a suitable molding process. Making the modular pulley disks from non-metallic materials enables the disks to be formed with structural geometries such that the assembled pulley is structurally more rigid and can better distribute torsional loads and momentum from the belt to the support shaft.
