  • Publication number: 20260234914
Abstract: A top mount installation enables a user to mount a fixture on a surface of a structure from a readily accessible area adjacent to the structure. The top mount installation includes a base connectable to the fixture and an anchor that cooperates with the base to create a clamp on the structure. The anchor is joined to a sleeve that engages, e.g., receives or is received by, a shaft extending from the base. The sleeve and the anchor can be movable relative to the shaft towards the base via threaded engagement between a fastener and the sleeve. The shaft and the sleeve can also include complementing anti-rotation shapes that limit relative rotation between the shaft and the sleeve during engagement between the fastener and the sleeve, allowing such engagement to cause movement of the sleeve and the anchor towards the base.
