The methods comprise administering to a mammal a composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a zvegf3 antagonist in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable delivery vehicle. Zvegf3 antagonists include anti-zvegf3 antibodies, mitogenically inactive receptor-binding zvegf3 variant polypeptides, and inhibitory polynucleotides.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a refuse bin comprising an open topped container for refuse, a shallow base having means to mount the refuse holder on the base and a one-piece removable cover for enclosing the refuse holder, the cover having a lower periphery which engages with the base to support the cover on the base around the refuse holder and an upper part extending above the upper end of the refuse holder and being formed with a port or ports disposed above the upper end of the refuse holder through which refuse may be passed into the holder within the cover and having an integral upper end wall closing the upper end of the cover.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a lock suitable for a refuse bin for securing a cover of the bin to a base of the bin. The lock comprises a body to be mounted on the cover and having a spring loaded projecting plunger to engage the base. The plunger has an inclined cam surface disposed within the body and a key is insertable in the body to engage the cam surface. The key has two spaced longitudinally extending abutments to engage the cam surface in succession to provide an initial and then a final retraction of the plunger. A projection is provided on the lock body adjacent the plunger to engage between the abutments on the key and thereby prevent a simple blade from being used to retract fully the plunger.

Abstract: The outer shell of a bowling ball, vulcanized in situ onto a spherical core, is formed of a mixture of sulfur-vulcanizable rubber, preferably SBR rubber, inert particulate filler such as rubber dust, sulfur, process oil, and polyurethane, with suitable accelerators and pigment. The polyurethane, comprising about two to about ten percent by weight of the shell, is preferably of a kind that is retarded in curing by the presence of the sulfur and is generally incompatible for polymerization with the rubber; the ball exhibits superior hooking and hitting characteristics and has high oil resistance.
