  • Patent number: 5731942
Abstract: The instant invention is a protection device for electrical equipment operating on a single or three phase alternating current power supplies. The device consists of an electrical circuit having at least one relay which is energized by at least one leg of an incoming power supply. The relay is energized by either a manual toggle or an automatic timer when the power supply is fully operational. Thus, upon placement of the device into an electrical line, power restoration after a power interruption is made possible only by manual initiation of the toggle or by an adjustable timer that counts down a preset period of time before initiation.
