Abstract: A mattress sling is provided for the lifting, moving and transporting of the common bedroom mattress and box spring systems. By providing the mattress sling, the typical method of bending down to the floor, gripping the bottom of the mattress firmly with one hand, and holding one vertical end of the mattress firmly with the other hand before lifting and moving, is eliminated. By providing the mattress sling, lifting straps on the ends of the sling are located within easier reach of one's grasp effecting a better posture for the carrier persons. By providing the mattress sling, an improvement is made on the current lifting, moving and transporting of bedroom mattress and box spring systems, as implied by mattress manufacturers.
