Abstract: A system for improving and automatically processing financial information and the storing of data using financial codes, product identifiers, the point-of-sale and non-point-of-sale locations and functions, transaction cards and a financial and data management system capable of processing data that is identified or associated with the financial codes. With the point-of-sale and non-point-of-sale locations and functions used to process the identified data into transaction data, so that when the transaction card data is extracted by the point-of-sale or non-point-of-sale locations said transaction data and other data can be transmitted to the financial management system, so that the data inputted into the financial management system can be stored, parsed, and organized according to the financial codes identifying or associated with the data, so the financial management system can store the data or produce a financial report related to bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting, or tax preparation.
