Abstract: The present invention relates to a dumbbell device for training muscles on a person, wherein at least one gripping element is adapted and provided to be raised and/or lowered by the person, and further wherein at least one gripping element is mechanically fixedly, releasably or non-releasably, connected to the weight element and is grippable by the person for the purpose of raising and/or lowering, wherein at least one adjusting element displaces and thereby adjusts a center of gravity of the weight element relative to the gripping element by means of an adjusting weight.
