  • Patent number: 8991799
Abstract: A shock absorbing assembly (10) has a front plate (12) and a rear plate (14) separated by spacers (16). The plates and the spacers each have holes (18A, 18B), the upper holes (18A) in the front plate preferably being threaded. Fasteners, such as but not limited to threaded rods (22A, 22B) and locknuts (24A, 24B), hold the spacers in position between the front plate and the rear plate. The threaded rods (22A) are screwed into the threaded holes in the front plate but do not protrude from the front face of the front plate. The threaded rods (22A) are secured by locknuts 24A on one end and the threaded rods (22B) are secured by locknuts 24B on both ends. The rear plate also has a pair of engagement plates (20) which position the assembly on the catwalk.

  • Publication number: 20140300077
Abstract: The present invention is in the technical field of sporting and recreation. More particularly, the present invention is in the technical field of children's bikes. Conventional children's bikes last only a short time because the children outgrow them and or no longer find the style of the bike appealing. It is costly and time consuming to keep up with a child's needs and also his ever-changing tastes in trends. The present invention is a complete response to this issue. The present invention is a bicycle with a frame that has been designed to allow all sizes of wheel diameters to work on the same bike. The tires can be changed and the look of the bicycle can also be changed. Thus as a child grows, the bike can grow with him.

  • Publication number: 20130081743
Abstract: The present invention is a wheel, tire and tread system that is used to change wheel diameters, change treads for varying terrains, for safety reasons, to re-tread or to tread designs. The tread designs can be used to exhibit brands, prints, imprints and they can also be used as molds. The invention is comprised of a separate tread and a separate tire to be used together. It is also comprised of a key, distinguishing factor, which are the attachments that are located on the sidewalls of these tires. These attachments allow for the separate tread and the separate tire to be used together. The present invention is used by attaching the varying treads to the varying wheels through slipping the holes on the treads into the buttons on the wheels. The pieces fit together forming one unit and function as any typical tire should.

  • Publication number: 20120246970
Abstract: The present invention is called Silly Solez. This device is a portion of the tread, sole, footwear top or footwear bottom which can easily be removed and then replaced. This device can be used on any type of footwear to print, imprint or mold with either side of the device. It can also be removed and used as a stamp. The present invention can be made with or without a resevoir to allow ink or dye to release and leave prints of the various designs. The present invention can also be used as a removable waterproof storage device on the top or the bottom of the sole of footwear.

  • Patent number: 7892040
Abstract: Communications connectors having a plurality of signal carrying paths include a printed circuit board and a plurality of contacts. The printed circuit board has a plurality of contact pads, a plurality of output terminals, and a plurality of conductive paths that electrically connect at least some of the plurality of contact pads to respective ones of the plurality of output terminals. The contacts each have a plug contact region. In these connectors, a first of the plurality of signal carrying paths extends from the plug contact region of a first of the plurality of contacts to a first of the plurality of output terminals through a first of the contact pads and a first of the conductive paths.

  • Publication number: 20070276094
Abstract: Disclosed is a thermoplastic polyolefin composition having improved adhesion to applied polymeric foams or coatings, the composition comprising (a) polypropylene, (b) a hydrogenated copolymer of a vinyl aromatic compound and an alkylene compound, comprising (i) from 1 to no more than 30% by weight of vinyl aromatic residues, based on the weight of the copolymer, and (ii) at least 55% by weight of alkylene residues that are C4 or higher, based on total alkylene content of copolymer (b) prior to hydrogenation, (c) a functionalized polyolefin, and (d) a monoamine terminated polyalkylene oxide. In one embodiment, the functionalized polyolefin (c) and monoamine terminated polyalkylene oxide (d) form an adduct that is thermodynamically miscible with the copolymer (b) at adduct:copolymer (b) ratios of from 0.1:9.9 to 9.9:0.1.
