  • Publication number: 20080302682
Abstract: A smokeless tobacco product adapted for oral administration includes a permeable pouch adapted for administration into a user's mouth and adapted to be removed from the mouth and disposed in nature and smokeless tobacco contained in the pouch. The pouch is made from a degradable polymer whose degradation properties allow the pouch to be essentially intact until the time of disposal and allow the pouch to degrade in nature after disposal.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 11, 2007
    Publication date: December 11, 2008
    Inventors: Thomas Engstrom, Torbjorn Mathisen
  • Publication number: 20080196730
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a smokeless tobacco product in the form of a completely dissolvable vehicle (1; 11) comprising concentrated tobacco extract contained in a dissolvable matrix. In one embodiment, the vehicle (11) is a multilayer three-dimensional vehicle whose several layers (12, 13, 14) dissolve layer by layer in the mouth of a user.

  • Patent number: 7120532
Abstract: Method and device for the determining a maximum allowed velocity (Vmax) for a vehicle (1) when going downhill (2). The invention includes a detector (11) for detection of current inclination (alpha) of the vehicle (1) in relation to a horizontal plane (3), and means (10) for the determination of a value relating to the maximum allowed velocity (Vmax) of the vehicle in dependence of at least the value of the inclination (alpha). The invention also relates to a procedure for the control of the velocity. The invention provides a procedure for velocity control that takes the inclination into account when going downhill.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 4, 2002
Date of Patent: October 10, 2006
    Assignee: Volvo Articulated Haulers AB
Inventors: Per-Åke Persson, Göran Eliasson, Thomas Engström

  • Patent number: 4941473
Abstract: A guidewire for guiding a catheter is provided including a pressure sensor at the distal end of the guidewire and a ventilation passage for connecting the pressure sensor to ambient pressure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 11, 1989
Date of Patent: July 17, 1990
    Assignee: Radisensor AB

  • Patent number: 4936310
Abstract: The invention relates to a catheter for intravascular pressure measurement. The catheter includes a leader (3) with a transducer (4). The leader is surrounded by an inner sheath (2) with a reduced partial section portion (6) and by an outer sheath (1) arranged around the inner sheath. An end closure (5) joins the outer and inner sheath to each other at the distal end of the catheter to form an outer cavity (9), intended to be pressurized by an outside pressure source, whereby the attenuated partial section sealingly surrounds the leader or transducer (4). Pressure calibration in situ is enabled with the aid of the inventive catheter.
