  • Publication number: 20210044034
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for an electrical earthing or grounding system to protect electrical systems and structures. Such systems and structures are efficient at dissipating broadband energy. An earthing mix system in contact with a grounding electrode is separated into functional components; a conductive earthing mix which is in contact with an electrical conductor and an impedance transitioning earthing composition which is in contact with the conductivity earthing mix. The conductive earthing mix absorbs, radiates, conducts, and dissipates electrical energy. The impedance transitioning earthing mix acts as a lossy impedance matching media to reduce reflections and improve energy transfer. A conductive slurry mix fills in voids and aids in contact between the other elements.

  • Publication number: 20210008308
Abstract: A method of acclimatizing a patient to provide continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, including operating a device for treating sleep disordered breathing (SDB). The device provides continuous positive airway pressure to the patient during sleep via a mask configured to provide a seal with respect to airways of the patient. The method comprises applying full therapeutic pressure during a first session, monitoring a mask pressure during application of the full therapeutic pressure, calculating a difference between the full therapeutic pressure and the mask pressure, comparing the difference to a threshold representing an acceptable level of leak, generating a first signal in response to said comparing, and in response to said first signal indicating a fault in the seal, decreasing an applied pressure to below the full therapeutic pressure during the first session in order to improve the seal of the mask against the patient's face.

  • Publication number: 20200396255
Abstract: A computer system automatically generates a proposal for performing microsegmentation on a network. The system provides output representing the proposed microsegmentation to a user. The user provides input either approving or disapproving of the proposed microsegmentation. If the user approves of the proposed microsegmentation, then the system implements the microsegmentation. Otherwise, the system does not implement the proposed microsegmentation. This process may be repeated for a plurality of proposed microsegmentations within the same network, and may be repeated over time to modify one or more existing microsegmentations. The system advantageously performs the vast majority of the work required to microsegment the network automatically, leaving only the task of review and approval to the user. This both saves a significant amount of time and increases the quality of the microsegmentation in comparison to microsegmentation solely performed manually by one or more humans.
