  • Patent number: 6942260
Abstract: A closing device for a vehicle door includes a doorlock, an operating element for operating the doorlock, an external door handle fixed to the external skin of the vehicle door with an adjuster piece, a deflecting element which translates a movement of the adjuster piece along a first direction into a movement along a second direction and a coupling element by means of which the deflector element acts upon the operating element. The external door handle and the deflecting element are connected to the external skin of the vehicle door, such that they move together with a deformation of the external skin and that the coupling element is provided with means for distance compensation, which permits a movement of the deflector piece relative to the operating element, without the deflecting element acting upon the operating element.

  • Patent number: 6920720
Abstract: A motor vehicle door includes a box door body formed from a door outer skin and a door inner skin, a large surface cut out section in the door inner skin capable of being covered by a wet/dry space partition with a sealing element. The motor vehicle door also includes a frame structure, containing a window frame, and is connected through a fastening part to the door body. An outer seal near the vehicle body is also formed on the vehicle door. The wet/dry space partition covers, at least in part, a fastening region near the vehicle body and a door inside window sill. The sealing element on the wet/dry space partition runs through an area overlap of the partition and another sealing element is mounted between the frame structure and the door body that extends at least from the outer contour of wet/dry space partition sealing element to the outer seal.

  • Publication number: 20030155780
Abstract: The invention relates to a closing device for a vehicle door, comprising a doorlock, an operating element (4), for operating the doorlock, an external door handle (1), fixed to the external skin (100) of the vehicle door with an adjuster piece (15), a deflecting element (2) which translates a movement of the adjuster piece (15) along a first direction (R) into a movement along a second direction (B) and a coupling element (3) by means of which the deflector element (2) acts upon the operating element (4). According to the invention, the external door handle (1) and the deflecting element (2) are connected to the external skin (100) of the vehicle door, such that they move together with a deformation of the external skin (100) and that the coupling element (3) is provided with means (5) for distance compensation, which permits a movement of the deflector piece (2) relative to the operating element (4), without the deflecting element (2) acting upon the operating element.

  • Publication number: 20030140566
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle door provided with a box-type door body (1), which is constructed of a door outer skin (1a) and of a door inner skin (1b), and provided with a large-surface cutout (10), which is located in the door inner skin (1b) and which can be covered by a wet-dry space partition (2) having a sealing element. The inventive motor vehicle door is also provided with a frame structure (3), which contains the window frame (30) and which is joined to the door body (1) via at least one binding part (31, 31′, 32), and is provided with a preferably encircling outer seal located between the vehicle door and the vehicle body. Said motor vehicle door is characterized by the provision of a wet-dry space partition (2) that at least partially overlaps the door rail (33) and the binding area (11b, 11ba, 11bb, 11bc, 12b), which is situated on the body, whereby the sealing element (20) of the wet-dry space partition (2) passes through the overlapping area.

  • Patent number: 6320297
Abstract: The invention related to a method for low loss periodic control of a capacitive load (CP), in particular of a piezoelectric actuator. In this method, before load control begins, a capacitor bank (C1) is charged via a voltage source (UB) until the oprating voltage of load (CP) is attained; then the load (CP) is charged from the capacitor bank (C1) via a series resonant circuit formed by a reactance coil (L1), a freewheeling diode (DE), and by the load (CP). In this method, when a load is required, the load (CP) is linked via discharge switch (SE) to the reactance soil (L1) which is itself connected via a freewheeling freewheeling diode (DL) to the capacitor bank (C1) in such a way that the load (CP) is discharged until a residual voltage (UR).
