    Abstract: The present invention relates to the construction of multi-cell batteries in which bus bars are cast within the battery containers to provide interconnection of groups of plates in each cell. Further the batteries may be provided with inter-cell and terminal connectors integrally cast with the bus bars and removable or permanent tooling is illustrated in suitably adapted form for casting of such bus bars and connectors in one operation.
