Patent number: 11448029Abstract: A method is for placing an object on a seabed. The method includes connecting the object to at least two vessels by use of a work wire; attaching one or more buoyancy devices to the work wire, to achieve a distributed buoyancy of the work wire that forms a double curvature which disassociates at least some vessel movement from the object, to allow for controlled movement of the object; and co-operating the vessels to move the object into a position in a sea distant from the vessels, to lower the object to the seabed and to place the object on the seabed. Also described is a system for transporting an object to a position in a sea where the water comprises gas bubbles significantly lowering the load-carrying capacity of the water and for lowering the object to an area having a wellbore from which the gas bubbles enter the sea.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2019Date of Patent: September 20, 2022Assignee: InterMoor ASInventors: Thomas Fulton, Bruno Amann Santana, Allison Cribbs, Jonathan Kent Longridge, Regan Miller

Patent number: 9956724Abstract: An insulated drinking vessel, e.g., a wine glass, and methods of making the same is disclosed. The vessel basically comprises a pre-molded inner vessel formed of a plastic material having a sidewall, a pre-molded outer vessel formed of a plastic material, and a ring. The ring is formed of a plastic material and is molded in-situ on a top portion of the inner vessel to cause portions of the plastic material of the inner vessel to melt and intermingle with the plastic material of the ring to form a non-superficial homogenous joint therebetween. The inner vessel is disposed within the outer vessel and the ring is welded to a top portion of the outer vessel. The ring forms the rim or lip of the insulated drinking vessel and that vessel includes an insulating air space between the sidewall portions of the inner and outer vessels.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2015Date of Patent: May 1, 2018Assignee: Tervis Tumbler CompanyInventors: Thomas Melton, Thomas Fulton

Patent number: 9771205Abstract: An insulated drinking vessel, e.g., a wine glass, and a method of making the same is disclosed. The drinking vessel basically comprises an outer vessel, an inner vessel and a ring. The inner and outer vessels each include a sidewall. The sidewalls are spaced apart. At least one of the outer vessel, the inner vessel and the ring are pre-molded to form an integral structure having a vestige of a molding gate used to mold the integral structure. At least one of the inner and outer vessels and the ring is molded in situ on the integral structure to cause portions thereof to melt and intermingle to form a non-superficial homogenous joint, with the ring forming the rim or lip of the insulated drinking vessel.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2017Date of Patent: September 26, 2017Assignee: Tervis Tumbler CompanyInventors: Thomas Melton, Thomas Fulton

Patent number: 9451842Abstract: An insulated drinking vessel, e.g., a wine glass, and a method of making the same is disclosed. The vessel basically comprises a pre-molded outer vessel formed of a plastic material having a sidewall, a pre-molded ring formed of a plastic material, and an inner vessel having a sidewall. The ring includes a bottom end at which the vestige of a molding gate may be located. The inner vessel is formed of a plastic material molded in-situ on the bottom end of the ring to cause portions of the ring's plastic to melt and intermingle with the plastic material of the inner vessel to form a subassembly including a non-superficial homogenous joint between the ring and the inner vessel. The sidewall of the inner vessel of the subassembly is disposed within the sidewall of the outer vessel and the ring is welded to a top portion of the outer vessel to form the rim or lip of the insulated drinking vessel.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2015Date of Patent: September 27, 2016Assignee: Tervis Tumbler CompanyInventors: Thomas Melton, Thomas Fulton
