Abstract: A pet dish advertising apparatus has indicia operatively disposed on a dish, the dish comprising a food-safe material selected from the group consisting of polylactide, cardboard pulp, wax-coated cardboard, wax coated paper, wax-coated fabric, a translucent resinous material, a transparent resinous material, and a composite of fused fibrous and resinous materials, along with a recessed lid with a tab. Optionally a plurality of the pet dishes are contained in a tray. Also included is a method for making a pet dish with advertising. Also included are packaging configurations.
