  • Publication number: 20210344020
Abstract: The present invention provides a fuel cell cap that includes a flanged edge region in which a gasket is positioned, and which is adapted to be sealingly fit over the edge of fuel cell and successive heat energy transmitting sections that concentrate the heat energy for ultimate emission. A dome-shaped first region is integral with and positioned radially inward from the flanged edge region followed by a first stack region of cylindrical cross-sectional shape that is integral with and extending upwardly from the dome-shaped first region. Next, a second stack region of cylindrical cross-section shape extends upwardly from the first stack region and is of a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. Finally, an inwardly tapering region extends upwardly from the second stack region and emits the heat energy from the cap.

  • Patent number: 4525183
Abstract: A series of valves are disclosed which are specially designed for use in desiccant dryers. Each of the valves utilizes a housing (12), fabricated of standard pipe components and communicating flanges (13, 14) in conjunction with a poppet (24) and seat (20) arrangement. A support (30) fixed to one side of the interior of the housing carries an axial rod (23) to which the poppets (24) are mounted. Two- and three-way valves include a piston (36) and cylinder arrangement within the support to actuate the poppets. The poppet (224) of the check valve (200) is actuated automatically in response to pressure differentials across the poppet.

  • Patent number: 4479815
Abstract: A pneumatic controller is provided for a two-bed adsorbent fractionator, particularly a heaterless dessicant dryer, having pneumatically controlled inlet and exhaust flow valves and, optionally, a repressurization valve. The flow valves are controlled by a schedule of pneumatic pilot signals generated by the controller from a source of pressurized gas, e.g., gas tapped from and at the line pressure of the outlet of the fractionater. Control valves within the controller selectively apply the full pressure from the source as pilot signals to the flow valves of the fractionater. A variable regulated pressure is utilized to control these control valves according to a schedule established by the time periods to fill two timing volumes through variable orifices.
