  • Patent number: 11485519
Abstract: A wing panel assembly system includes a wing build station, a stringer staging station, and an overhead gantry sub-system including stringer lifting assemblies having lifting mechanisms and end effectors. The end effector has a stringer holder engaging and holding a stringer. The end effector has an actuator operable to move the stringer holder in at least one direction relative to the lifting mechanism. Each stringer lifting assembly is configured to move the stringer from the stringer staging station to the wing build station located relative to a surface of a skin of the wing panel to place the stringer onto the skin of the wing panel in a determined location.

Date of Patent: November 1, 2022
    Assignee: THE BOEING COMPANY
Inventors: Dennis Michael Weller, Thomas Gee Wittenberg, Manuel Torres Martinez

  • Patent number: 10256863
Abstract: An integrated radio frequency (RF) circuit structure may include a resistive substrate material and a switch. The switch may be arranged in a silicon on insulator (SOI) layer supported by the resistive substrate material. The integrated RF circuit structure may also include an isolation layer coupled to the SOI layer. The integrated RF circuit structure may further include a filter, composed of inductors and capacitors. The filter may be arranged on a surface of the integrated RF circuit structure, opposite the resistive substrate material. In addition, the switch may be arranged on a first surface of the isolation layer.

  • Patent number: 6658659
Abstract: A system and method for loading software identifies versions of software modules to be loaded. The version identification allows a loader to request, access and load any level or version of a program that the application interacts with. Thus, the loader selects only specific versions of software that are known to be compatible with other software currently loaded or being loaded. The software includes specific compatibility information that is used to determine whether it should be selected or passed over for another version of the same software. In this manner, a “version aware” loader ensures that loaded software modules are compatible with one another and will therefore execute properly. The version aware loader may be implemented in an operating system or other loading software running on a personal computer or network router.

  • Patent number: 6605256
Abstract: A device for carrying out a multiplicity of chemical, biochemical or physical processes in parallel has a plurality of switching blocks (1), to which a multiplicity of reaction vessels (5) are removably fastened. Liquids, gases and/or solids can be supplied to and/or extracted from the reaction vessels (5) through the switching blocks (1). Each switching block (1) comprises a gas duct plate (11) and a functional plate (12) which is arranged so that it can be displaced on it. The gas duct plate (11) has a multiplicity of through-holes, a gas duct and a multiplicity of gas duct holes extending from the gas duct to the functional plate (12) and the functional plate (12) has a multiplicity of through-holes and depressions open to the gas duct plate (11). Depending on the position of the plates, through-holes, depressions or sealing surfaces of the functional plate (12) are located opposite to through-holes and gas duct holes of the gas duct plate (11).
