  • Publication number: 20020003361
Abstract: A folding-table arrangement is assigned to a vehicle seat and has tabletop arrangement with at least one tabletop being accommodated in a receiving housing which is arranged laterally next to the vehicle seat. Each tabletop of the tabletop arrangement can be pulled out upwards and folded down into an approximately horizontal in-use position in which the tabletop arrangement is held by the receiving housing by supporting means. The tabletop arrangement together with its hinge pin which connects it to the receiving housing is guided in a sliding manner between its pulled-out and its pushed-in position in a guide shaft of the receiving housing. The concomitantly moved hinge pin of the tabletop arrangement is fixed on a guide slide which runs in the guide shaft of the receiving housing and, in the in-use position of the tabletop arrangement, is displaced into an upper end position in the guide shaft.

  • Patent number: 6257641
Abstract: An arrangement for contacting of electronic components (for example, seat occupation detection sensors, buckle switches) in a removable vehicle seat which can be mechanically detached from its vehicle-body-side anchoring by means of a seat unlocking device. In order to unlock the seat, a plug-type connection must first be separated manually by the operator. Only then will the unlocking of the seat be released. In another embodiment, an electric plug-type connection is provided which, during the installation and removal of the seat, automatically makes or breaks contact because of the relative movement of the seat.

  • Patent number: 5593208
Abstract: A vehicle seat has a seat frame and a backrest retained pivotally thereon. Pairs of front and rear legs are articulated on the seat frame and are intended for fastening the seat frame on the vehicle floor. The rear legs are locked releasably on the vehicle floor for the purpose of pivoting the seat cushion upwards and are coupled so as to be forced to move with the pivoting movement of the seat cushion, such that they fold onto the seat frame during the pivoting operation. For the purpose of achieving a cost-effective, rattle-free pivoting mechanism for the rear legs, the front legs are assigned a first belt pulley and the rear legs are assigned a second belt pulley, and the two belt pulleys are connected to one another via a drive belt. Each belt pulley is arranged, on the associated legs, coaxially with respect to the articulation point of the legs on the seat frame and is connected in a rotationally mixed manner to at least one leg.
