    Abstract: A thixotropic slurry is prepared comprising a compound having the formula ##SPC1##Wherein X and Y may be the same or different and each represents a mono- or di-substituted amino or alkoxy group and M represents an alkali metal or hydrogen, by mixing the wet filter cake obtained during the preparation of this compound with a dispersing agent such that the resulting slurry has a Brookfield viscosity from 200 to 10,000 centipoises at 6 r.p.m. A detergent composition is prepared by adding the above obtained slurry to a detergent and mixing.
