  • Publication number: 20120251289
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved system and method for delivering and backhauling cargo to and from a destination. The present invention generally comprises a first and second truck that are in an outbound configuration to deliver a cargo to at least one location. The first and second truck each have at least one flatbed section. After the cargo has been delivered, the first and second truck assume a return configuration wherein the second truck and second truck flatbed is stored on and secured to the at least one flatbed section of the first truck for a backhaul destination for the second truck. It is important to note that no portion of the second truck and second truck flatbed section in the return configuration is in contact with the ground, they are only in contact with the first truck flatbed section.

  • Publication number: 20110194920
Abstract: The Jezco Waste Collection Truck provides a completely new method of picking up garbage on the residential and commercial garbage route. Instead of the garbage going into a vehicle that has to be dumped at an intermediate location then reloaded, the garbage goes into a leak proof container which is not dumped till the garbage reaches it final destination. The Jezco Waste Collection Truck is a medium duty 2 axle truck that holds the patented Jezco Container. This truck is a lighter duty vehicle than the standard garbage truck which is typically a 3 axle unit and much heavier. As a result the Jezco Waste Collection Truck is a less expensive unit. The Jezco Container is 100 percent leak proof and will not spill garbage juices onto the roadways and will eliminate the transmission of rodents. The Jezco Container has the ability to access back haul trucking which will reduce the fuel consumption used in hauling garbage and reduce the number of trucks on the road for garbage hauling.

  • Publication number: 20070095058
Abstract: This apparatus has the ability to transport energy to propel a generator. This invention uses coil springs as a way to store energy. A hydraulic pump is used to force hydraulic oil into a hydraulic tank with up to 3,500 pounds of pressure per square inch. The hydraulic oil with the help of a hydraulic jack will collapse the springs. Once the springs are fully collapsed the pump will stop working, allowing the springs to uncoil or come back to full size. While returning to their uncoiled position the springs will push and propel oil out of the bottom end of the hydraulic tank and into a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor will be connected to a generator to produce electricity. Two or more power units will be used together, one unit will be recharging while the other is working to operate the generator. A small power unit and generator can be used in family's house relieving the homeowner of fuel costs. The same unit placed in the house can also charge a battery to run the family car.

  • Patent number: 6149373
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for the lifting and manipulation of bulk material containers having at least a pair of externally protruding lips or a peripheral rim. The device has a frame adapted to be engaged by one or more kinds of moving machines, such as a forklift, and has a pair of substantially parallel, forward extending container engagement rails. The container engagement rails each have one or more inwardly directed lips which form a shelf or channel, upon or between which a container is supported and captivated for lifting and manipulation by externally projecting lips or rim. The container engagement rails may be vertically displaced from the machine engagement means to more efficiently utilize the lifting range of the machine, and the container engagement rails may be movably mounted to the frame to aid in handling conainers which have become distorted.

  • Patent number: 6019565
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for the longitudinally aligned lifting and manipulation of bulk material containers having apertured or tapered bases, or horizontally oriented ribs, or external peripheral lips on the sides thereof. The apparatus comprises a central frame having a pair of fork like elongate legs extending therefrom, and supporting wheels located at the central frame and at the distal ends of the legs. The legs are spaced sufficiently to straddle the base and simultaneously engage both sides of a container to be lifted, and lifting action achieved by a plurality of power rams which either extend the wheels more downwardly so that the legs and frame of the device are lifted with respect to the ground in con junction with tongues adapted to engage lifting apertures of the container, or by the upward extension of link bars which engage the side walls of a container so that the container is lifted with respect to the legs and frame of the device.

  • Patent number: 5873593
Abstract: A nestable truck body is provided, having dimensions of height and width which increase from the front of the truck body to the back of the truck body do that the majority of the truck body is able to be nested within another empty truck body of similar construction, thereby enabling the storage of more than one truck body in little more space than is required to store one truck body. When this structure is combined with techniques for piggyback towing of bodiless trucks, a method for the simultaneous transportation of a plurality of trucks and bodies therefor is achieved, which may be further improved by reversal of the orientation of the last truck so that the bodies nested therein are carried more securely.

  • Patent number: 5281073
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for the transport and management of liquid bearing waste, such as sludge and ash, having a container body which tapers inwardly from the top to the bottom so that the majority of the container is able to be nested vertically within an empty container of similar construction. The container has a pair of elongated support rails longitudinally affixed thereto, the support rails and each of the container sidewalls having a pair of apertures transversely therethrough to enable lifting and manipulation of the containers by apparatus such as a forklift. A modified forklift is also provided adapted to tilt its blades downwardly to a substantially vertical angle to enable tipping the containers for emptying.
