  • Publication number: 20250118975
Abstract: A vehicle high-voltage storage system for a high-voltage system includes an interconnected group of a plurality of storage units, wherein each storage unit has at least one storage cell, a high-voltage switching device, by which a current path formed via the storage units can be interrupted, and which has at least one bistable contactor, switchable by a first supply voltage of a low-voltage supply. An emergency low-voltage supply provides the first supply voltage for opening of the at least one bistable contactor in the event of failure of the low-voltage supply. The emergency low-voltage supply includes at least one of the storage units for providing the first supply voltage, and a low-voltage switching device, which can be switched by a second supply voltage, which is smaller than the first supply voltage, for connecting the at least one storage unit to the at least one bistable contactor.

  • Publication number: 20250092896
Abstract: A connecting arrangement for connecting two components may have at least one connecting unit and additionally a protective element. The protective element may have at least one first connection point for connection to the connecting unit and at least one second connection point for connection to at least one of the components. The at least one of the connection points and/or the protective element is or are designed to be flexible at least in regions and/or at points when a force is applied.

  • Publication number: 20240044349
Abstract: A device for compensating for tolerances between two components to be connected to one another, where one of the components is formed from a creep-sensitive material, may have a base element and a compensating element which is in threaded engagement with the base element and which can be moved from a starting position into a compensating position by rotation relative to the base element. The base element is designed as a one-piece, hollow cylindrical element with a base portion and a spacer portion. The spacer portion is pre-positioned or fixable on the component made of the creep-sensitive material such that the spacer portion projects into an opening of the component in a state pre-positioned or fixed on one of the components.

  • Patent number: 11738620
Abstract: A motor vehicle chassis is provided having a base structure that can be hydraulically adjusted in level between a raised and a lowered position. A hydraulic adjuster is assigned to one of the two foot points of the corresponding suspension spring in each of the four wheel suspensions. At least two of the adjusters can be pressurized in parallel by a common hydraulic aggregate comprising a tank and a motor-pump unit and activated by a control unit. The at least two hydraulic adjusters that can be pressurized by the common hydraulic aggregate communicate hydraulically with the accumulator chamber of a spring-piston accumulator, which has at least one piston-position transmitter linked by signal transmission to the control unit.

  • Publication number: 20050241796
Abstract: For the production of piston pins having a hard peripheral area, a relatively inexpensive chill casting method is used. A chill form having a mold cavity for a piston pin is embedded in a casting mold, cast iron is poured into the mold cavity of the chill form, and then the peripheral area of the piston pin that results from this process is cooled by means of the chill form, is white-solidified, and thereby forms a hard wear-resistant surface.

  • Patent number: 6581555
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for opening and closing a valve of an internal combustion engine. The aim of the invention is to reduce the energy required for opening and closing a valve of an internal combustion engine, especially one that is provided with an electromagnetic valve control. To this end, the kinetic energy of the valve is transferred to a mass and temporarily stored in a mass.

  • Patent number: 6354258
Abstract: The invention relates to a hollow-stem valve for an internal combustion engine. The valve has a ratio of wall thickness to stem diameter of less than 1:3. The aim of the invention is to minimize the deformation of the valve head. To this end, the valve disk rests directly against the stem.
