  • Publication number: 20240133260
Abstract: A system includes a running tool having a carrier with an axial drive, an arm coupled to the axial drive, and a tool engagement bracket coupled to the arm. The tool engagement bracket is configured to couple to a pressure cap assembly having a clamp assembly disposed about a pressure cap. The tool engagement bracket includes a torque tool opening configured to enable engagement of a torque tool with the clamp assembly. The axial drive is configured to move the arm, the tool engagement bracket, and the pressure cap assembly along an axial path of travel along a central axis of the pressure cap. The system has at least one of: the running tool is configured to install or remove the pressure cap assembly within a window of a hydrocarbon system having first and second fluid systems removably coupled together, or the running tool is configured to removably couple to the pressure cap assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240108960
Abstract: A shooting system includes a collapsible ball capture support adapted to support a ball capture device and a ball return. The ball return detects a ball captured by the ball capture device and returns the ball to a user in response to the detected ball. To return the ball to the user, the system identifies a location of the user with respect to the shooting system, orients the ball return toward the user, and accelerates the ball along a trajectory based on a distance between the user and the shooting system.

  • Publication number: 20180080748
Abstract: A grenade simulation apparatus is provided that allows users to simulate the detonation of a standard grenade, flashbang grenade, and impact grenade, without using explosive charges, fire, or pressurized material. The apparatus may provide both visual and auditory feedback in a safe and re-usable manner. The apparatus may provide a method for triggering a simulated detonation externally using a switch. A simulated detonation may include visual and/or auditory feedback, such as through the use of a siren and LEDs.

  • Publication number: 20160332309
Abstract: A Gripper Remote Tool Change System (GRTCS) provides a locking guided tool changer assembly that interfaces with multiple tools, locks onto a tool holder, and is easily recognizable by a robot's gripper camera. The GRTCS provides an intermediate solution for remote tool changing that does not require a user to physically interact with the robot to change a tool. The GRTCS may be a completely mechanical product that does not require altering the electronics on the base robotic platform to which it may be attached.

  • Patent number: 7423538
Abstract: A child alert system that uses radio transmitters and receivers to provide the location of a child, adult or object to which a transmitter unit of the system is attached. The transmitter unit includes a panic button for allowing the wearer of the transmitter unit to send a panic signal when they feel endangered. The system further includes signaling when the transmitter is submerged, when the vital signs of the wearer fall below a certain threshold, or when the transmitter is tampered or removed from the person.
