Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for adjusting inventory allocations assigned to system elements published to a reservation and booking system. In particular, inventory allocations assigned to a system element may be adjusted based on deviations from a target utilization level assigned to that element. For example, in the context of an airline pricing and reservation system, a threshold revenue management (RM) system may adjust fare class level (FCL) allocations for a published flight. As disclosed, the threshold RM system may make across-run adjustments when a flight is published in a booking system and across-DCP adjustments after the flight is published. Doing so may both improve revenue as well as help ensure a flight realizes an assigned load factor target at departure.

Abstract: A dual purpose wall plate (10) includes a flat support plate (20) that defines on one half a support plate opening (26) and a sloped cable support extension (32) for extending into the hollow wall structure and for passing low voltage communications cable (39) through the wall. The other half of the support plate (20) includes a plug opening (38) and a plug receptacle housing (40) and a high voltage plug receptacle (44) for receiving a power plug (41). The external surface of the dual purpose wall plate is substantially flat and substantially coextensive with the wall to which it is mounted, therefore forming no protrusions that would interfere with the mounting of a flat screen television or other device directly over the wall plate.

Abstract: A wall plate (10) is provided that accommodates communication cable and is formed by a support plate (11) and a cable support extension (12) mounted to the inner surface (20) support plate. The cable support extension is open-ended, with one opening in communication with the access opening (26) of the support plate (11) and the other opening projecting inside the wall structure (50). This allows the communication cable (56) to be fed from within the wall structure, through the wall plate, and beyond, with the cable support extension functioning as an interior sight barrier without obstructing the placement of a flat screen television set or other wall mounted objects.
