  • Patent number: 11069428
Abstract: Measurement results are acquired by a number of medical imaging systems in each case using a respective measurement protocol and by applying a respective dose. Data records are automatically placed in a cloud by the systems or a PACS connected to the respective system. Measurement protocols, applied doses, and anonymized images of the data records are referenced among each other. The data records placed in the cloud are assigned the respective examination type and an identification of the respective system and/or an identification of the type of respective system. The cloud accepts data queries from users. The data queries as a search criterion specify at least the examination type, the identification of the respective system, and/or the identification of the type of the respective system. The data records are determined by the cloud in accordance with the respective data query and are made available to the respective user.

  • Publication number: 20160041693
Abstract: A basis image is captured by an image capture device and transmitted to a computing unit. A gesture of a user of the computing unit is identified by the computing unit based on the basis image. An action is determined and executed by the computing unit depending on the identified gesture. The action is determined by the computing unit for at least one of the gestures in addition in dependence on a relative position of the image capture device relative to a display device. No later than upon capturing the basis image, an additional image is captured by at least one additional image capture device and transmitted to the computing unit. On the basis of the additional image, the relative position of the image capture device relative to the display device is determined by the computing unit.

  • Publication number: 20140372149
Abstract: A method is disclosed for processing patient-based data sets, which each include medical data and sensitive patient data as plain data. The sensitive patient data of each patient-based data sets are anonymized to generate anonymized patient-based data; test data from each patient-based data set is generated from the respective sensitive patient data and incorporated in the respective patient-based data set via an algorithm; anonymized patient-based data sets and the test data are made available in a cloud computing architecture; sensitive patient data about a patient is predefined within the context of processing a specific patient-based data set on a client computer attached to the cloud computing architecture and enquiry data is generated from the predefined sensitive patient data via the algorithm; and a security function is triggered if the test data from the specific patient-based data set does not agree with the enquiry data about the selected patient.

  • Publication number: 20140337802
Abstract: In an embodiment, the computing unit determines a spherical volume region corresponding to a sphere and lying in front of a display device and the midpoint of the volume region. Furthermore, the computing unit inserts manipulation possibilities related to the output image into image regions of the output image. An image capture device captures a sequence of depth images and communicates it to the computing unit. The computing unit ascertains therefrom whether and, if appropriate, at which of a plurality of image regions the user points with an arm or a hand, whether the user performs a predefined gesture that differs from pointing at the output image or an image region, or whether the user performs a grasping movement with regard to the volume region. Depending on the result of the evaluation, the computing unit may activate a manipulation possibility, perform an action, or rotates the three-dimensional structure.

  • Patent number: 8525852
Abstract: In a method and device to show two different images (determined from a first image data set and a second image data set) of at least one imaging modality (in particular a medical imaging modality), the images can be presented together on a display device with a presentation area as a fusion image or as individual images. A detection arrangement associated with the display device detects a movement of at least one finger of a user on the or in the immediate proximity of the presentation area or a contact of the presentation area and, depending on the detection, produces a change of the presentation of the fusion image, or changes between an individual image presentation and fusion image presentation or between two individual image presentations.

  • Patent number: 5187976
Abstract: This invention pertains to an automatic apparatus and method for determining the mass-moment of a blade of a jet engine. It encompasses an elongated weighing beam that is lifted up off both the weighing scale and a fixed fulcrum block during the loading and unloading of the blade with respect to the weighing beam. When measurements are to be taken, the weighing beam, with blade attached, is lowered onto the scale and the fixed fulcrum block. The value measured by the scale is sent to a computer for calculation of the blades' mass-moment.
