  • Patent number: 11646520
Abstract: A contact device for receiving a plug end includes a first contact, which has a first coupling end and a first contact end, and a second contact, which has a second coupling end and a second contact end. The coupling ends are configured to electrically couple the respective contact to a receiving device, and the contact ends are configured to electrically connect the respective contact to a contact element of the plug end. The shortest distance between the first coupling end and the first contact end is not equal to the shortest distance between the second coupling end and the second contact end. The total length of the first contact is equal to, or is within a predetermined tolerance from, the total length of the second contact.

  • Patent number: 11600955
Abstract: A plug-in connector for a two- or multi-wire cable includes a male and female contact. The male and female contacts are configured to be coupled to first and second wires, respectively, and are elongated in a plug-in direction. A carrier element is configured to position and receive the male and female contacts in first and second receiving spaces, respectively, each at a predefined angle with respect to the plug-in direction, and to electrically insulate the male and female contacts from one another. A shielding element includes first and second channels for receiving the first and second wires, respectively. The channels each penetrate the shielding element from its end located counter to the plug-in direction to its end located in the plug-in direction. The shielding element comprises an electrically conducting material, and is arranged at an end of the carrier element located counter to the plug-in direction.

  • Publication number: 20220311163
Abstract: An edge connector for connecting to a mating connector includes an outer conductor having a main body and plug-in portion, and first and second inner-conductor contacts arranged at least partly inside the outer conductor. The inner-conductor contacts each comprise a coupling end and a contact end. A shortest spacing between the coupling end and the contact end of the first inner-conductor contact is different from a shortest spacing between the coupling end and the second contact of the second inner-conductor contact. The overall electrical lengths of the inner-conductor contacts are the same. The contact ends are arranged in parallel on a main plane and in the plug-in portion. The inner-conductor contacts are arranged at least partly inside a receiving chamber of the main body. The main plane divides the receiving chamber into first and second asymmetric chamber portions. An insulator galvanically isolates the inner-conductor contacts from the outer conductor.

  • Patent number: 9833045
Abstract: A belt buckle for a plug-in tongue of a vehicle seat belt. The buckle includes a holding mechanism for holding an inserted plug-in tongue and with a belt buckle housing which includes a first shell part and a second shell part locked onto the first shell part. The buckle includes a rod-shaped latch element that is mounted on the first shell part. The latch element is pushed along its longitudinal direction into a latch receiver of the second shell part and is held there by means of at least one pair of latching fins. The latching fins on opposite sides of the latch element each bear at an angle on a latch edge, formed on the surface of the latch element, and prevent a withdrawal of the latch element from the latch receiver counter to the insertion direction.

  • Patent number: 7309041
Abstract: Belt retractor and a belt-retractor spring-cassette housing for a belt retractor. The belt-retractor spring-cassette housing can be installed in a particularly simple and therefore cost-effective manner. The belt-retractor spring-cassette housing has a spring core and a driving spring which is held in the spring core, the belt-retractor spring-cassette housing and/or the spring core are designed symmetrically so that the driving spring can have any desired torque direction.

  • Patent number: 7083135
Abstract: A belt retractor for a seat belt includes a belt reel, an eccentric disc connected to the belt reel, a cam disc driven by the eccentric disc, and a blocking pawl. The blocking pawl, in a blocking position, blocks a toothed ratchet wheel, and, in a release position, leaves the toothed ratchet wheel unaffected. The blocking pawl may be switched from the release position into the blocking position and conversely from the blocking position into the release position with the cam disc. For the belt retractor to be independent of tolerances, provision is made for the cam disc to have an engaging cam for engaging the blocking position of the blocking pawl and a disengaging cam for engaging the release position of the blocking pawl.

  • Patent number: 6902129
Abstract: A seat belt device is provided. The seat belt device has a seat belt roller together with a locking device for locking the seat belt roller. The seat belt device furthermore has a guide pin which is moveably supported inside a guide link and is coupled to the locking device. The displacement of the guide pin inside the guide link depends on the direction of movement of the seat belt roller. The coupling of the pin to the locking device provides that locking of the seat belt roller is either brought about or prevented, according to the positioning of the guide pin in the guide link. The seat belt device makes it possible to ensure that seat belt locking is activated only when unreeling, and not when the set belt is being reeled in.
