  • Publication number: 20240052437
Abstract: A tanning process for tanning of animal hides in a process equipment including a tanning container, a controller, and temperature regulating equipment. The controller controls the temperature in the tanning container based on a temperature setpoint input to or established by the controller. The tanning process includes the steps of initially determining process parameters based on animal hide characteristics including at least animal hide type and animal hide weight. The process parameters include at least one of the parameters: time, temperature, start pH and end pH or any combination thereof. The tanning process of the animals hides is executed based on the process parameters in the tanning container under atmospheric pressure. The tanning process involves the addition of tanning agents to animal hides in the tanning container. The tanning involves the addition of water in an amount of less than 10% bw of the animal hides.

  • Publication number: 20220194642
Abstract: A method for packing one or more animal hides includes a step of providing a packaging having a first packaging volume configured to contain one or more animal hides and a volume of gas. A further step includes providing the one or more animal hides inside the first packaging volume. The first packaging volume is sealed off from the surrounding environment. A microorganism growth inhibiting environment inside the first packaging volume compared to the surrounding environment is provided.

  • Publication number: 20210332450
Abstract: A process for tanning animal hides comprising the steps of: providing a container comprising a pickled hide, a tanning agent and optionally an aqueous solution, where the total amount of water in the container is no more than 110% of the total water that can be retained by the pickled animal hide, and where the total amount of tanning agent in the container is no more than 110% of the total tanning agent that can be retained by the pickled animal hide, and basifying the animal hide to bind the tanning agent in the animal hide.

  • Patent number: 8523687
Abstract: A joint, particularly a constant velocity ball joint, including an inner hub and an outer hub, which hubs exhibit respective inner and outer ball tracks which are associated with each other in pairs, and further including balls disposed in the pairs of associated inner and outer ball tracks, the tracks being configured such that at the contact points of the balls with the ball tracks the tangential planes form an angle of inclination, and the ball tracks exhibiting at any given time a continually changing curvature, as a result of which the angle of inclination is constant.
