  • Publication number: 20240118624
Abstract: Systems and methods for curing a photopolymer printing plates. A radiation source, such as an UV LED source having a radiation-emitting lateral dimension in a range 10-60 cm, is spaced from a substrate that holds the printing plate. The source and substrate are configured to move relative to one another in a movement direction that defines a leading edge of the radiation source and a trailing edge of the radiation source. A cooling air handling system directs a volume of cooling air into the gap between the radiation source and the printing plate in a direction from the trailing edge to the leading edge. The cooling air handling system may have one or more outlets attached at least one edge of the source, may be configured to only direct air from the trailing edge to the leading edge, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20240109570
Abstract: Navigating a transportation network by receiving an equipment identifier, querying a section of interest database to obtain at least one section of interest associated, accessing geolocation data from one or more geolocation sensors, querying a one section of interest using geolocation data to identify a next section of interest. With geolocation data, calculating at least one of a time to a next section of interest or a distance to a next section of interest, and determining that a reduction in speed is required, where a reduced speed is an amount of speed by which the speed must be reduced in order for the equipment to achieve a target speed associated with the next section of interest, and providing an alert configured to escalate to the user interface.

  • Patent number: 7431891
Abstract: In a device for the temperature control of microcomponents, in particular micro-reactors, which preferably have a plate-shaped design and preferably consist of silicon, at least one microcomponent is pressed against a temperature-control element in a holder. A flat heat-conducting connection exists between the microcomponent and the temperature-control element.

  • Publication number: 20070110629
Abstract: The invention relates to a sampling device (1) for a microreaction system (3), comprising an outlet (4) and a suction line opening (9) which is arranged next to the outlet (4). A depression can be produced in the suction line (9) for the suction of the substances (13) leaving the outlet (4). The outlet (4) is embodied as a capillary and can be positioned in relation to the opening of the suction line (9). The outlet (4) is surrounded by a housing (6) comprising a discharge outlet (14) for the substances (13) leaving the outlet (4), and a through-opening (8) for the suction line (9). Said suction line (9) opens up into a collecting tank (10) that is connected to a vacuum line (12) by means of an electrovalve (1).

  • Publication number: 20050158209
Abstract: A microcomponent connection system (1) having an accomodation device for plate-shaped microcomponents (7) has a connection block (2) and a lifting device (6), by means of which the microcomponent (7) and the connection block (2) can be pressed against one another. The connection block (2) has electrical and fluid line connections (8, 9) and optical line connections (16), each of which projects in a sprung or spring-mounted manner on the underside of the connection block (2). In order to connect the microcomponent (7) to the associated line connections (8, 9, 16), the microcomponent (7) is pressed by the lifting device (6) in the direction of the connection block (2) against the electrical line connections (8) or fluid line connections (9) designed as electrically conducting spring tongues or as hollow rams (10), or optical line connections (16).

  • Publication number: 20050006240
Abstract: The present invention provides a field generating membrane electrode for contact with an electrolyte solution comprising a wetable membrane which is ion permeable under electric field conditions and an electrically conductive material for connection with a source of electrical charges, characterized in that one side of the membrane is in direct contact with the electrolyte solution and the other side of the membrane is in direct contact with the electrically conductive material and a gas receiving volume. The electrode according to the present invention is especially useful for electrokinetic transport, electrokinetic pumping, electrophoretic transport, isotachophoretic transport, separation of ions or electrochemical reaction of ions.
