    Abstract: A refrigeration device is provided and includes a compressor with a compressor inlet and a compressor outlet, an evaporator with an evaporator inlet and an evaporator outlet, a valve, connection lines, and a control unit. The compressor and the evaporator are part of a coolant circuit and the valve is arranged in the coolant circuit between the compressor outlet and the evaporator inlet. The compressor and the valve are actuated by the control unit, wherein the control unit has a delay unit which causes the compressor to be switched on with a time delay only after the valve is opened.
