Abstract: A passenger vehicle which can be converted from snow to road to water use includes a generally rectangular frame with fabric panels on the frame defining a seat for the passenger. A generally horizontal front platform is connected to the front cross member and can tilt front to rear and side to side and a symmetrical rear platform is connected to the rear cross member. Front and rear ski assemblies are arranged for attachment to the front and rear platforms for movement therewith and for steering movement relative thereto operated by steering levers. The skis can have wheels attached for road use and the skis can be removed and replaced by annular float tubes for water use. Cross links communicated steering movement of the front support to the rear or the rear can be locked.

Abstract: Method for wedging a door against forced opening is operated by rotation of the interior actuation lever of a dead bolt to raise and lower a wedging leg. A bracket is attached to the door at the dead bolt and releasably attaches to a housing on which the leg is mounted for pivotal movement between the raised inoperative position and a lowered wedging position. An operator at the housing is moved downwardly by rotation of the lock lever to the open position to pull on a spring which is connected to an upper end of the leg which causes lifting of the leg to the raised position.

Abstract: A pedal boat for recreational use includes an inflatable ring on top of which is mounted a platform structure carrying a seat, pedals and a steering mechanism. The pedals drive a shaft mounted diametrically of the ring and carrying paddles. The steering action is effected by clutching the left or right paddles on the drive shaft.

Abstract: A picking tool for litter and the like includes a handle with a manually graspable upper end and jaw elements at the lower end which can be opened and closed by operating the handle to grasp material to be lifted. The handle includes two generally parallel handle sections which can be squeezed together by manual operation at the upper end. The squeezing action operates on a pair of gear tooth fulcrum members at the lower which are thus pivoted open by the squeezing action. Each fulcrum member can replacably receive a jaw element for grasping the material between the two jaw elements. One style of jaw element comprises a scoop. A second style of jaw element includes an outer pinch edge and a pair of receptacles rearwardly of the pinch edge for collecting materials of different sizes.
