    Abstract: Apparatus for orally announcing the speed of a moving vehicle. A radar speed detector produces a multi-digit binary-coded-decimal representation of vehicle speed. These signals are converted to a modulated audio frequency signal that a demodulator, audio amplifier and speaker convert into oral digits for the driver to hear.
