  • Publication number: 20050190027
Abstract: A relay and a process for producing a relay are described, three contact pins being provided for the relay. The three contact pins are preferably manufactured from a stamping and are fixed together as a contact stamping with respect to a yoke through insertion into a base. As a result of the use of a contact stamping with the three contact pins connected rigidly to one another, adjustment and handling of the three contact pins during production of the relay is relatively simple.

  • Patent number: 6677842
Abstract: A load-disconnecting switch has a permanent-magnetic holding circuit. A coil (5), upon excitation thereof, generates a magnetic flux that is opposite to the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet (9). The armature (6) is biassed to an open position by an armature spring (10), so that the armature spring (10), when a defined operational excitation is exceeded, detaches the armature (6) from the core (7) of the magnet system, allowing said armature to open and thereby disconnecting a switching contact (15) and a fixed contact (16). The load-disconnecting switch can be switched on again by means of a spring clip (12) acting on said armature (6).

  • Publication number: 20030156006
Abstract: The invention relates to a bi-stable electric switch comprising a spring (101) that is configured as a bi-stable snap-action spring and carries contact elements (114, 116) on the carrier strip (104) of the spring and comprising at least one drive element made from shape memory material per switch state for actuating the spring, the spring having a plate (110) that is rigidly fixed at one end (102) and that is subjected to a pressure in the direction of its linear extension and evades this by bulging towards one side into one of two stable final states, the regions of the spring in the stable final states taking up different lateral positions and the drive elements (118, 119) acting upon the free end of the plate and as a result of the tilting of free end (104) cause it to snap into the second stable final state.

  • Patent number: 6608542
Abstract: An armature for a switching relay having an armature plate and an armature spring. The armature plate is pivotally mounted on the switching relay between an open and closed position. The armature spring is attached to the switching relay by a suspension and has a spring contact region connected to the armature plate. A first web is attached to the spring contact region, and a tension rod is connected to the first web so that minimal torsional forces are transmitted to the tension rod when the armature plate pivots between the open position and the closed position.

  • Patent number: 6040751
Abstract: The battery section switch is switched between a terminal post and a main circuit using a contact arrangement. The contact arrangement can be locked in its closed position via a toggle spring device that acts directly on a free end of a contact spring. The toggle spring device is also coupled to the armature of an electromagnet system which, given excitation, releases the interlock and opens the contact arrangement. Given this battery section switch, the on-board network of a vehicle can be quickly switched current-free, given a collision or given a short-circuit, in order to reduce the risk of fire or in order to prevent a discharge of the battery given some other malfunction.
