  • Publication number: 20080290765
Abstract: A glass cabinet for storage and/or display of objects includes a front, a rear (2), a right (3) and a left lateral surface (4), a bottom piece (5) and an upper piece (6) forming the top, at least one lateral surface, for example, the front lateral surface being formed as a glass door (1), in the closed state of the glass cabinet, the interior thereof being sealed in an airtight manner to the environment and the door (1) being mounted displaceably laterally parallel by a guide means mounted in the region of the upper piece or the lower piece or respectively in the region of the upper and the lower piece until release of half of the door opening. In this position, the guide means is formed in such a manner that the projecting part of the door (1) can be pivoted in this position so far that this part of the door (1) adjoins the left (3) or right lateral surface (4). Such a design of a glass cabinet is particularly suitable for those with a very large width.

  • Publication number: 20080236182
Abstract: A shelve cabinet comprises partially cooled shelves which are open towards the front and wherein the goods compartment is cooled by a cool-air curtain flowing through the at least partially perforated rear wall of the goods compartment into the goods compartment and/or by a cool-air curtain flowing along the goods compartment opening. One or more goods display shelves are located in the goods compartment, the goods display shelves being configured in such a manner that the at last one partial flow of the cool-air curtain is guided across them to the front area of the goods display shelves. The goods display shelves are provided with structure for stabilizing at least one partial flow of the cool-air curtain flowing along the goods compartment opening.

  • Publication number: 20070251252
Abstract: A showcase for storing and/or displaying objects which require a protective gas atmosphere, the base and the cover construction of the showcase more or less surrounding the showcase interior which is sealed in an airtight manner as far as possible relative to the exterior air, having a compressor (2) by which the air (1) present outwith the showcase interior (7) is suctioned in and compressed. Subsequently a protective gas is produced from the compressed air by a gas producer (3) and is supplied to the showcase interior (7), the gas producer (3) being able to be accommodated within or outwith the showcase. In this way, provision of a supply container for the protective gas is avoided.

  • Publication number: 20060028102
Abstract: A show cabinet for displaying objects, one of the side panels of which is in the form of a glass door, the outer face of which, in the area of the outer edge when in the closed position, closes flush with one side panel of the cabinet in order to seal off the interior of the cabinet in a dust-tight and airtight manner against its surroundings, appropriate flexible sealing strips being affixed in the area of movement of the door.

  • Publication number: 20050253847
Abstract: Techniques for automatically maintaining continuity in animation across discrete animation changes. Smooth animation is achieved without forcing the animator to manually calculate compensation values or introducing extra controls to the models that are animated. Continuity or smoothness of the animation is maintained as varying aspects of the animation change under continued authoring.

  • Patent number: 6699711
Abstract: A device and method are disclosed for selective exposure of a biological sample, preferably biological cell material, to sound waves. The device is provided with a receptacle for the sample, in which the biological sample is in a suspended form, and having an electroacoustic transducer device, which generates sound waves and which is disposed outside the receptacle of the sample in such a manner that sound-wave coupling into said sample occurs through the wall of said receptacle.

  • Patent number: 6353277
Abstract: An acoustic transducer, especially an air transducer, including a piezoceramic disk (10). The object of the invention is to provide an improved transducer of this type for more efficiently converting electromagnetic waves into mechanical waves and vice versa. To this end, a combination of a piezoceramic disk (10) and a membrane (8) is provided, the membrane being configured as a monomorphic flexural resonator and being composed of an epoxy-hollow glass sphere mixture or of a material which is similar in terms of its acoustic properties. The planar vibration mode (4) in the piezoceramic is converted into a thickness vibration (6) using Poisson's ratio. After the conversion, this thickness vibration is then adapted to the propagation medium, especially air, by a coupling layer having a low acoustic impedance.
