  • Patent number: 11686907
Abstract: A pluggable optical module may include a substrate. The pluggable optical module may include a compressible sliding thermal interface disposed on the substrate to contact a riding heatsink. The compressible sliding thermal interface material may be compressed to fill interstices between a first surface of the substrate and a second surface of the riding heatsink. The compressible sliding thermal interface may protrude from the first surface of the substrate such that insertion of the pluggable optical module into a cage compresses the compressible sliding thermal interface to achieve a threshold thermal boundary resistance.

  • Publication number: 20220405739
Abstract: A third party security system having an intelligence unit for receiving and processing vendor related data to generate insights regarding vendor related tasks; a risk assessment unit for receiving and processing risk score data associated with the vendor and for generating a predicted risk score value of the vendor; a legal assessment unit for receiving legal data and for determining based on the legal data whether the vendor is in compliance with a contractual obligation; a vendor tiering unit for receiving the vendor related data and for classifying the vendor into one or more classes based on the vendor related data; a program quality and efficiency analysis unit for receiving the risk score data and for determining an accuracy of the risk score; and a service unit for generating a virtual agent for allowing communication with the system.

  • Patent number: 9706273
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for auto-configuring a wavelength selective switch (WSS) device having an output port and a plurality of input ports and coupled to a WSS controller. When connected to a WDM optical network, the WSS controller is programmed to utilize one or more optical channel monitors (OCM) coupled to the input and/or output ports to detect which of the wavelengths are present at the input ports. Wavelengths that are not detected on any input port are blocked by the WSS. Any wavelength detected as present at one and only one input port is switched by the WSS to the output port. If a wavelength is detected at two or more input ports, it is either blocked by the WSS at each of the input ports until user intervention, or is blocked at all but one of the input ports as defined by assigned port priorities.
