  • Patent number: 11072954
Abstract: A door hinge is disclosed having a frame hinge part and a leaf hinge part, which are pivotable in relation to one another about a pin on a pivot axis. The frame hinge part has an upper and lower housing, the leaf hinge part has a middle housing, insertable between the upper and the lower housing. The pin is insertable into the lower, the middle, and the upper housing, and rotatably mounted in the upper and lower housings. Two eccentricities are provided in the middle housing of the leaf hinge part. The middle housing can be clamped in a rotationally-fixed manner with the pin, so that the leaf hinge part is pivotable in relation to the frame hinge part about the pin. In the non-clamped state, the leaf hinge part is adjustable by means of the two eccentricities in two dimensions transverse to the pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 8028799
Abstract: A damping device and a method of damping a structural element of a vehicle body are disclosed. The damping device generally includes a carrier material, a separating material, and a damping material disposed on the carrier material. The damping material is one of a material forming an open cell structure and a material having an absorption coefficient for sound waves greater than about 0.5. The method generally includes fixing a damping device on a structural element of a vehicle, the damping device including a carrier material, a separating material, and a damping material, and one of expanding and dilating at least one of the separating material and the damping material, the damping material having one of an open cell structure and an absorption coefficient for sound waves greater than 0.5 after expansion.

  • Patent number: 6891037
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the isolation of polysaccharides, in particular for the separation of endotoxins from capsule polysaccharides of gram-negative bacteria. The polysaccharides isolated by this method are preferably used for the production of polysaccharide vaccines. The invention furthermore relates to vaccines containing polysaccharides isolated by the method described in this invention.
