  • Patent number: 7085373
Abstract: A detection circuit and method for detecting AC voltage pulses at a defined frequency relate to first transforming an input signal to a low-frequency signal by multiplying the input signal by a mixing frequency. This down-mixed signal can then be filtered and evaluated. The circuit is particularly suitable for identifying charge unit signals in the telephone network.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 8, 2003
Date of Patent: August 1, 2006
    Assignee: Infineon Technologies AG
Inventors: Thomas Hauser, Frank Hürtgen, Christian Kranz
  • Publication number: 20050008040
Abstract: The apparatus contains a counter that is synchronized to the reference time in the mobile station. The counter counts sampled chips of the radio signal to produce a count. The apparatus further includes a controller that controls the processing of the radio signal, activates the processing of the radio signal when the count matches a begin count, and deactivates the processing of the radio signal when the count matches an end count, wherein the begin count and the end count are determined by a signal processor as a function of the time frame offset of the radio signal with respect to the reference time in the mobile station.

  • Patent number: 4689859
Abstract: A generally U-shaped grab hook with an eye on one leg includes a safety latch which is pivotally mounted on the free end portion of the other leg to swing between latched and unlatched positions. When in its latched position, the latch retains a sling chain or the like in the throat of the hook and, because of the location of the pivot, any load placed on the latch by the chain tends to force the latch more tightly into its latched position. Spring-loaded detent balls are carried by the hook and coact with holes in the latch to hold the latch releasably in either of its positions and to require the latch to be positively pivoted from one position to the other.
