Abstract: A device for storing bicycles in a building such as a garage where there is space over the hood of an automobile parked in a garage. The device includes brackets or means for attaching the device to the frame structure of the building, and a rack on which the bicycles are mounted, the rack being pivotally connected with the brackets so that the rack may be turned forwardly about its pivot to bring the rack and bicycles thereon from vertical to horizontal position. Another feature is means associated with the brackets and the rack to prevent the rack from turning the wrong way about its pivot. Another feature involves clamping means for grasping the inclined members of a bicycle frame near the center of gravity of the bicycle frame. Another embodiment includes means for mounting a rack such as above referred to at the rear end of an auto.

Abstract: A garage in which cars are parked side by side in parallel spaced relation and there is suspended between them a sheet of resilient material, which, when a door of one of the cars is opened between them, will allow the door to open as necessary but will prevent damage to the other car.

Abstract: Apparatus for assisting the opening of a door when the door is subjected to added air pressure tending to hold the door closed, the apparatus including means operable when the pressure comes to be applied for urging the door toward opened position thus compensating or partially compensating for the effect of the added air pressure. Preferably, such means includes a weight and means which when actuated releases the weight to cause the weight to be applied to urge the door to an open position.

Abstract: Apparatus for assisting the opening of a door when the door is subjected to added air pressure tending to hold the door closed, the door being provided with openings therethrough and including means for closing the openings but which will operate to remove the closure upon operation of means for unlatching the door.
