  • Patent number: 11835062
Abstract: A diagonal fan has an electric motor, a housing, and a diagonal impeller received in the housing. The diagonal fan is driven via the electric motor. The fan generates a diagonal flow during operation that is deflected in an axial flow direction by an inner wall of the housing. An outlet guide vane device is arranged adjacent to the diagonal impeller when viewed in the axial flow direction. The outlet guide vane device has a plurality of guide vanes that are distributed in a circumferential direction. The outlet guide vane device homogenizes an airflow generated by the diagonal impeller. The device has an air outlet with a specified outlet diameter B. The diagonal fan extends over a total axial length E. The ratio of the total axial length E to the outlet diameter B is configured such that 0.3?E/B?0.6.

Abstract: A diagonal fan has an electric motor, housing, and diagonal impeller, which is accommodated within the housing, can be driven via the electric motor, and generates a diagonal flow during operation that is deflected in an axial flow direction by an inner wall of the housing. Outlet guide vane device with a plurality of guide vanes distributed in the circumferential direction is arranged adjacently to the diagonal impeller when viewed in the axial flow direction, and homogenizes airflow generated by the diagonal impeller. vanes have a radial extension from a hub region of the outlet guide vane device to the housing. An imaginary extension in the outflow angle of the diagonal impeller strikes the inner wall of the housing at an axial distance K from the diagonal impeller. Outlet guide vane device is arranged at axial distance H to diagonal impeller where 0.75?K/H?1.25.

  • Patent number: 11136990
Abstract: The impeller has a bottom disk, a top disk, and impeller blades sandwiched between the two. The top disk has an inner opening edge that defines an axial inlet opening. The impeller blades have a first radial inward section that extends radially inward beyond the opening edge. A blade contour on each impeller blade points toward the inlet side of the impeller. The blade contour first radial inward section extends from a transition portion near the opening edge under the top disk. The blade contour on the first radially inward section of the impeller blade extends radially inward yond the opening edge and forms a specified formula geometrical edge design. A second portion of the impeller blades extends radially outward from the transition portion, the transition portion and the second portion of the impeller blade are covered entirely by the top disk from the first formula impeller blade contour.

  • Patent number: 10550856
Abstract: A suction nozzle is provided for a fan with a suction opening for suctioning a fan main flow. The suction nozzle has an opening edge section adjoining the suction opening and having a local outbreak. A flow insert is detachably provided in the local outbreak of the opening edge section. The flow insert forms a bypass leading to the suction opening for a bypass flow leading to the fan main flow. Measuring means are provided in the bypass for the volume flow determination of the fan main flow. A confusor is provided in the bypass. The confusor is formed by a first web and a second web. The first web and the second web circumferentially face one another to form a nozzle channel in the bypass. The nozzle channel has a radially narrowest section.
