  • Publication number: 20260060896
Abstract: A device for automated pumping and dispensing of single doses of opioid addiction medication to a user. The device includes a pumping platform, an outlet, and a cup dispensing component configured to dispense a cup onto the pumping platform. The device further includes a pumping mechanism configured to rotate and pump the opioid addiction medication into the cup. The device further includes a pusher wheel operatively coupled to the pumping platform, configured to cyclically rotate between positions. In one position, the pusher wheel pushes the pumping mechanism away and blocks the outlet. In another position, the pusher wheel moves such that the pumping mechanism rotates over the pumping platform and blocks the outlet. In another position, the pusher wheel pushes the cup from the pumping platform to the outlet and moves such that the outlet is exposed.

  • Publication number: 20260023912
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for placing cells in an integrated circuit are described. In various embodiments, an integrated circuit is divided into many partitions. In a first set of partitions susceptible to transistor latch-up, the many transistor gate stripes are connected to one of the power rails rather than left floating. The lengths of the transistor gate stripes are shortened for well tap cells in the first partition, but increased in a second partition susceptible for poor signal integrity. One or more implant layers are formed underneath the transistor gate stripes in each of the first and second partitions to adjust an amount of protection against transistor latch-up and poor signal integrity. An electrostatic discharge transistor is included with at least one source region of multiple source regions formed in a well with a same doping polarity as the at least one source region.

Abstract: A system for dispensing prepackaged single doses of a medication. The system includes a carousel made up of columns each containing single doses sharing a dosage size and a medication type, configured to rotate about an axis. A pushing mechanism is coupled to the columns, configured to push a selected single dose from a column onto the verification platform. The system further includes a biometric authentication mechanism for determining an identity of a patient based on biometric data to find a dosage order corresponding to their identity, and directing the rotation mechanism to rotate the dose in the dosage order in-line with the pushing mechanism. The system further includes a mechanism configured to dispense the selected single dose if the selected single dose matches the dosage order, and push the selected single dose into a rejection reservoir if the selected single dose does not match the dosage order.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to embodiments of a kiosk including a chassis having a patient compartment and a medication compartment. A patient does not have access to the medication compartment in the patient compartment. A dispense structure extends from the patient compartment to the medication compartment such that a dosage of medication may be dispensed to the patient when within the patient compartment. After the medication is dispensed to the patient, a medical professional observes the patient ingest the medication through a video conference display within the patient compartment. A biometric scanner may be in electrical communication with a lock in mechanical cooperation with a door hingedly coupled to the chassis to limit access to the medication compartment. • Patent number: 12278232
Abstract: In an embodiment, an integrated circuit includes transistors in different active regions, electrically isolated using single diffusion break isolation. The single diffusion break isolation includes a first dummy transistor that has a different threshold voltage than the transistors in either active region for which the single diffusion break is creating isolation. The first dummy transistor may have lower leakage current than transistors in either active region, creating effective isolation between the active regions and consuming relatively small amounts of power due to the lower leakage currents.

  • Publication number: 20250051759
Abstract: The invention provides a method of suppressing gene expression, comprising providing a mammalian cell with a suppression target RNA molecule comprising a heterologous RNAi target site operatively linked to a RNA sequence from a gene of interest, or with a DNA encoding said suppression target RNA molecule; providing to the cell an inhibitory RNA that has a complementary nucleotide sequence to the heterologous RNAi target site; wherein binding of the inhibitory RNA to the heterologous RNAi target site suppresses gene expression of the operatively linked RNA sequence from the gene of interest; and wherein said heterologous RNAi target site has a size of at least 18 nucleotides in length. The invention further provides nucleic acids and cells suitable for such a method.

  • Publication number: 20250049401
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining an X-ray image dataset of a target region of an object to be examined, wherein projection images showing the target region are captured by means of an X-ray detector and the X-ray image dataset is reconstructed from the projection images, wherein a first portion of the projection images is captured so as to be collimated onto the target region by the target region being irradiated with X-ray radiation by means of an X-ray device through at least one main radiation opening of a collimator assembly. The invention also relates to a corresponding apparatus for determining an X-ray image dataset of a target region of the object to be examined. The invention generally relates to the field of medical X-ray imaging, in particular with the aim of acquiring projections for reconstructing 2D computed-tomography images.
