Patent number: 6484099Abstract: The inventive process for correcting atmospheric influences in multispectral optical remote sensing data, which are acquired as raw data in satellite or airborne sensors for earth observation, comprises the combination of a pre-classification (DERA) of the raw data for an automatic identification of predefined classes, a correction calculation (CORA) for a conversion of the uncorrected to corrected reflectances on the ground, including an incorporation of current atmospheric data for a precise description of the atmospheric condition. The pre-classification (DERA) permits a more precise correction calculation (CORA) by generating required a priori knowledge. The method has applications in satellite or airborne remote sensing of the earth's surface.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2000Date of Patent: November 19, 2002Assignee: Deutsches Zentrum fur Luft -und Raumfahrt e.V.Inventors: Thomas Holzer-Popp, Michael Bittner, Erik Borg, Stefan Dech, Thilo Ebertseder, Bernd Fichtelmann, Marion Schroedter

Patent number: 5465032Abstract: A vertical deflection circuit includes a first pin which receives a forward scanning voltage having a first level and a first frequency. During a flyback period a second pin receives a flyback voltage having a second level higher that the first level and a second frequency higher than the first frequency. A third voltage source provides a first pulse. A switch means selectively couples the first pin and the third voltage source in response to a vertical blanking signal. The vertical blanking signal is differentiated to provide a differentiated signal and a voltage divider applies the differentiated signal to the switch to apply the first pulse to the first pin.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 1994Date of Patent: November 7, 1995Assignee: Deutsche Thomson-Brandt GmbHInventors: Achim Elgert, Thomas Holzer
