  • Patent number: 11965479
Abstract: A rotor lock assembly for locking a rotor of a wind turbine. The rotor lock assembly has at least one relocatable rotor lock. The relocatable rotor lock has a housing, a bushing element, a pin shaft position within the bushing element, and a locking mechanism. The housing includes a mounting portion adapted for mounting to a bearing housing adjacent to a rotor lock plate of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20240078222
Abstract: A value is assigned to a rate threshold for adding child nodes to a distinct parent node in a tree data structure. A first datum comprising a first variable assigned a first value and a second variable assigned a first value is added to the tree at a first timestamp, by adding to the first level in the tree a first parent node representing the first variable assigned the first value and adding to the second level in the tree a first child node representing the second variable assigned the first value and connected by a first directed edge from the first parent node. A second datum comprising the first variable assigned the first value and the second variable assigned a second value is received at a second timestamp. The method blocks adding to the second level in the tree a second child node representing the second variable assigned the second value and connected by a second directed edge from the first parent node when a rate based on the first timestamp and the second timestamp exceeds the rate threshold.

  • Patent number: 10982655
Abstract: A repair system for a gearbox of a wind turbine includes for removably coupling to the first portion of the gearbox housing of the gearbox. The lifting apparatus is adapted for lifting the first portion of the gearbox housing relative to the second portion gearbox housing. The repair system also includes at least one gearbox housing support member for mounting to the second portion of the gearbox housing. The at least one gearbox housing support member provides a support surface for the first portion of the gearbox housing during a repair procedure of the gearbox. The support surface is offset from the second portion of the gearbox housing.

  • Patent number: 10801473
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a hub crane assembly for a wind turbine. The hub crane assembly includes an adjustable articulating arm mountable at a first height on a hub of the wind turbine at a hinge point, a first hoist mountable at a second height of the wind turbine, the second height being greater than the first height, and a support component secured to the first hoist and a first attachment point of the articulating arm. Further, the first hoist is configured to rotate the articulating arm about the hinge point via the support component such that, as the articulating arm rotates, a clearance distance between the wind turbine and the articulating arm changes.

  • Patent number: 6851463
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved fiber-reinforced article comprised of at least two plies. Each of the plies comprises (a) rubber and (b) cord made from melt-spinnable, non-metallic, multifilament fibers for which the cord has a twist multiplier of less than or equal to about 375, a stress at 1% strain greater than or equal to about 1.7 grams/denier, and an initial compressive modulus greater than or equal to about 7 grams/denier, and the at least two plies have a fiber orientation angle of greater than or equal to about 23°. The composite is useful as a tire belt in a passenger tire.
