  • Patent number: 9650875
Abstract: A liner installation system for use in a wellbore having a casing string disposed therein. The system includes a liner string having a liner hanger and a liner top and a setting tool having an expansion cone assembly and a locator cylinder. After running the liner string through the casing string such that at least the liner hanger is positioned within the wellbore casing, the setting tool is run through the casing string until the locator cylinder contacts the liner top. Thereafter, axially moving the expansion cone assembly through the liner string radially expands the liner hanger into contact with the casing string.

  • Patent number: 7160166
Abstract: An underwater flotation safety device includes a base that may be positioned below the water surface of a swimming pool with ballast, a hook, or the like. A buoyant member is releasably coupled to the base and is also positioned below the water surface. A release member is positioned within a channel defined by the base for selectively releasing the buoyant member from the base. A transmitter is connected to the buoyant member for selectively transmitting a sing. A sensor for detecting a release of the buoyant member from the base is in communication with the transmitter for sending a signal when the buoyant member is released. An alarm unit remote from the transmitter includes a receiver for receiving the signal indicative of a release of the buoyant member. The alarm unit includes another transmitter for transmitting an emergency signal indicative of an emergency condition.

  • Patent number: 6276213
Abstract: A device for conditioning the electrical signal generated by a vibration sensor for use of the conditioned signal by a computer-based data acquisition system utilizes a support body and circuitry for performing a series of operations upon the sensor-generated signal. The circuitry includes an input stage for receiving and amplifying the electrical signal generated by the vibration sensor to thereby develop an output electrical signal of the input, and further includes a gain stage for receiving and AC coupling the output electrical signal of the input stage and amplifying the output signal of the input stage by a predetermined factor and thereby developing an output electrical signal of the gain stage.

  • Patent number: 4308758
Abstract: A drive unit for vibrating machines such as shakers or vibrating screens includes a box structure enclosing a fixed shaft having an eccentrically positioned rotor thereon. The distance of the rotor from the shaft can be varied thereby varying the amount of throw. The box structure may be mounted either vertically or horizontally to effect either vertical or horizontal motion to the device to be vibrated. The position of the box can be varied between horizontal and vertical to provide a combined motion to the driven machine.
