Publication number: 20230410130Abstract: A system and method for providing crowd sourced metrics for broadcast content providers. For determinations of such metrics, user consumption of broadcast content in multiple streams by multiple content providers may be monitored and user consumption information regarding the broadcast content may be obtained. One or more content consumption metrics may be determined to quantify individual user consumption of the broadcast content. Audience metrics may be determined, for a content provider, to inform about users that are available to consume broadcast content provided by the content provider. Events within the broadcast content may be determined and event information regarding individual user consumption of the broadcast content at the event may be obtained. Event metrics may be determined based on the obtained event information to inform about consumption of the broadcast content at the event by users.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 30, 2023Publication date: December 21, 2023Inventors: Thomas Hutchings, Kristen George

Patent number: 5940813Abstract: A processing system and method receive batch payment data from a plurality of different sources, such as lock-boxes, an ATM or customer activated terminal, an enhanced telephone, a bank teller, or a personal computer. The batch payment data is converted into individual transaction data for on-line processing and is sent to a temporary payment queue. A transaction mover places the data from the queue to a transaction queue and a transaction router subsequently assigns the transactions to available drivers. Each driver processes the payment data and makes appropriate account information updates to a set of master files. A transaction handler coordinates the control of the transaction mover as well as the control of the transaction router. The system operates in conjunction with on-line operations, such as customer service and other mortgage services, and has a transaction handler monitor which controls the speed of processing so that on-line operations can continue during the processing of the payment data.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 1996Date of Patent: August 17, 1999Assignee: Citibank, N.A.Inventor: Thomas A.
