  • Patent number: 10578595
Abstract: A method and device for the optical scanning of a chromatographic sample (3), where a sample plate (2) holding the sample (3) is illuminated with light from a first illumination device (13) and the light emitted by the sample plate (2) is detected by an optical detector device (15) which detects in cell form or area form, a second illumination device (14) is preferably firstly activated in a preparation step. The sample plate (2) is displaced in a first displacement direction relative to the detector device (15), illuminated by the first illumination device (13) and a first measurement image is recorded. The sample plate (2) is displaced in a second displacement direction relative to the detector device (15), illuminated by the second illumination device (14), and a second measurement image is recorded.

  • Publication number: 20090219584
Abstract: The present subject matter relates to methods and systems for scanning documents, wherein the on and off times of an LED light source are controlled proportionally to the line sync rate of the scanner, allowing the gain value applied to an image sensor output to be fixed, and thereby eliminating the need to recalibrate the scanner each time the line sync rate is changed. This allows the LED light source to provide appropriate illumination for imaging devices, without saturation of the A/D and without color shift when scanning at different line sync rates. The LEDs are turned on during each line scan period for a set, predetermined amount of time, and then are turned off for the remaining duration of the line scan period, regardless of the line sync rate.

  • Publication number: 20090027737
Abstract: The present scanning device and related method relate to reversibly positioning markers in respective overlapping areas, where the markers are arranged in the scanning device. A control device makes x-y-position correction of a camera on the basis of a known position and a known outline of the markers. The markers are deviated and displaced from a neutral position outside scanning areas of the camera into the overlapping areas.
