  • Publication number: 20220021528
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for securely managing data. In one example, a service provider receives user image data and user biometric data associated with a user. The service provider generates a user profile cryptographic key based on hashing this data, which may be associated with a user identifier. The service provider may further generate a public/private key pair associated with the user identifier. The public key and the user profile cryptographic key are stored, in association with the user identifier, to a consortium blockchain network. The service provider then receives a request, signed with the private key, to store a document in association with the user identifier. The service provider generates a document cryptographic key of the document, and executes a request to store the document cryptographic key to the blockchain in association with the user profile cryptographic key, the request verified using the public key.

  • Patent number: 11202477
Abstract: A garment for providing access to feeding tubes while the garment is being worn by a patient/individual. The garment includes a centralized access opening that is closable for portions of time and that provide access to a feeding tube or feeding tube mechanism that has been surgically implemented in a patient. The access opening may be located relatively central to the garment and can illustratively include additional fasteners that can secure a portion of the feeding tube to the garment.

  • Publication number: 20170083673
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically determining estimated healthcare costs associated with an individual in a multi jurisdiction environment are described and may include providing a client with a first input interface configured to allow a service provider to create a record for the individual including a diagnosis code and a procedure code associated with a medical condition of the individual. A database, managed by the service provider, including a plurality of historical healthcare cost estimates associated with individuals in different jurisdictions may also be included. A network interface and/or a second input interface may be configured to receive information about the individual from the client, such as documents that are stored by the system in association with the record for the individual.

  • Patent number: 5060564
Abstract: A press, in an automotive service facility to extract oil from a used automotive oil filter, mounted by brackets on a waste disposal band over an opening in the top of the barrel. An access door to the press having a cam acting on a press control knob to prevent operation of the press when the door is open. A hydraulic cylinder in the press and a plate under the cylinder and oil filters being deposited on the plate and being pressed to extract oil by the hydraulic cylinder lifting the plate against the bottom of the cylinder. The press being powered by low pressure air in the service facility which is converted to high pressure hydraulic pressure by a multiple stroke pumping system that includes a larger diameter air piston, in an air cylinder, attached to a smaller diameter hydraulic piston. An on-off control shaft manually shifted by manual operation of the press control knob.

  • Patent number: 4133935
Abstract: A waterproof electrode useful in metal-working is obtained by coating the ectrode with a polyolefin selected from the class consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene and mixtures thereof at a thickness from 0.25 cm to 0.80 cm by a method which comprises placing the electrode inside a polyolefinic heat-shrinkable tubing of a length sufficient to cover at least 0.6 cm of the bare metal of an electrode with a flux coating and sufficient to extend at least 0.8 cm beyond the electrode and with a diameter and a shrinkability sufficient to bring the polyolefin in contact with the bare metal of a flux-coated electrode.
