  • Patent number: 12649278
Abstract: An additive manufacturing system has a build surface supporting a precursor material to be fused by incident light energy. The system includes an optics assembly to direct the incident light energy along a beam path in a first direction toward the build surface, and an energy management system. The energy management system includes a beam block disposed along the beam path. The beam block has an aperture allowing the incident light energy to pass through the beam block in the first direction. The beam block also has a surface to absorb or deflect, away from the beam path, light energy traveling in a second direction different from the first direction. The energy management system also includes a heat sink to receive heat energy from at least a portion of the light energy traveling in the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20250359891
Abstract: A skin grafting system having a handheld device, a cartridge, and a device shield. The handheld device includes a device housing forming an interior that secures a drive system. The cartridge includes a plurality of hollow microneedles surrounded by a peripheral housing and is configured to be operated by the drive system to extend and retract past the peripheral housing into a subject to harvest tissue during a skin grafting process. The device shield is formed of a polymer extending from an interior opening to an exterior edge, the interior opening sized to extend about the peripheral housing to position the exterior edge over the device housing to control ingress of fluids into the interior of the device housing from fluid about the peripheral housing of the cartridge during the skin grafting process performed using the skin grafting system.

  • Patent number: 11122046
Abstract: A system for user-processing of data includes a processor, computer readable storage medium, and a program for generating an authorized response to a message in a network. Messages with content that relates to a group, sent by an originator via a network, are detected. The computer system determines that the message relates to the group by analyzing the message content. Members of the group are selected as designated senders to contribute to an authorized response for the group by analyzing the message. Selected designated senders are notified that they are selected to contribute to the authorized response. Initial responses to the originator from the designated senders are intercepted. The computer system combines the initial responses from the designated senders for generating a combined response as an authorized response for the group and sends the combined response to the originator via the network as the authorized response for the group.

  • Patent number: 8333161
Abstract: A seed furrow closing wheel has a generally dish-shaped body defined by a central portion and a notched outer flange portion that circumscribes the central portion and projects obliquely outwardly from the plane thereof. The notched flange portion is configured to present a series of circumferentially spaced, non-radial, obliquely projecting teeth that function to fragment and squeeze together opposite sidewalls of the seed furrow when a pair of the wheels are rolled along opposite sides of the furrow outboard of the furrow itself, crumbling the sidewalls and covering the seeds.
