  • Patent number: 4399246
Abstract: This invention is directed to a composition of matter which is derived from 50 to 75 parts of polyamide resin with a number average molecular weight of at least 11,000, plus 25 to 50 parts of a selected mineral filler, 0.2 to 0.9 parts of aminofunctional silane, and 0.2 to 0.9 parts of a selected sulfonamide. The composition provides molded parts with significantly improved falling-weight impact resistance at no sacrifice of rigidity under a wide variety of processing conditions.
